Happy Birthday (Aunt) Kristie

Today is Mark's baby sister's 30th birthday (can you believe it, I am actually posting it on the correct day!). She has finally joined the 30 and over club with the rest of us. I sure hope she has a wonderful day that includes lots of kiddie cocktails and any other sweet/eats that she enjoys.

Lake

Ahhh...the lake. What more can I say. I was a beautiful weekend and we were at one of the places that we love the most. Now, getting there and back was another story :) We grocery shopped and packed for the weekend and loaded the car on Thursday night. The babies and Caleb shared a very LARGE suit case which took up quite a bit of space along with the 3 pack n plays, 3 boppys, (you get the picture) but thanks to our great mini-van there was still plenty of room to sit.
We were lucky to be able to escape early on Friday and it only took us 4 1/2 hours to get there when on a normal day it would have taken just shy of 3 hours. We stopped in Cuba, MO at a McDonalds for lunch and to feed the babies and we were the talk of the town. We survived though. Here are some pics of the babies on the boat sleeping. They, just like their big brother loved the rocking of the boat. The weather was great so we were able to have them outside with us enjoying the fresh air while keeping an eye on Caleb in the water and on land.

Mom and Caleb (yes the water was very dirty this weekend)

Grandpa added a little pond to the lake house and it was a HUGE hit with the kids. They played (fell in) it all weekend. I did not take any pics, but it had a little bridge over it which was fun.

Forever!!!

It seems like forever since I have posted, and well that is probably because it has been. A lot has been happening over the last couple of weeks and I feel like things are finally settling back down and I am catching up on life. I am going to start the process of bringing the blog up to speed, but it may take a couple of days. I think I left off with the week before Memorial day. That was a busy week as Caleb had two school functions and we were also preparing for our weekend away at the lake. Monday Caleb went to the zoo on a field trip and Thursday he had water day. It was supposed to be his last day of school but because of the snow he had school the following Tuesday. I opted not to go to the zoo since it was a longer period of time and I knew I would be exhausted but in addition I am still pumping to feed the babies so that would have been painful to be away from my 'machine' for that long so grandma and PaPa took him. I was however there on Thursday for his water fun day. At the end of water fun day he received his certificate for completion of his first year of preschool. One more year before he moves on. Here are some pics of that day.
