Biter Biscuits

Mmmm...a great new discovery!! The babies loved their biter biscuits, but man they are not quite as easy to clean up as the puff are. (pics taken 10/30/09)

Mail Call

The babies got Halloween cards. Most kids like to look at them, mine like to eat them. This is Christian enjoying his 'treat'. You can see the look in his eyes that he was busted.

Bath Time-

Bath time is always a busy time at our house and even though it is only every other day for the babies it comes around quickly. This was probably the first time all 4 of the kids were in the tub together but it has happened many times since. We realized that the hall bathroom can accommodate all 3 rings and Caleb more comfortably than our bathroom plus the suction cups on the rings work much better in that tub as well. Before the rings, bath time for each baby was about 30 seconds, just long enough to get in get clean and get out. Caleb usually helped but all of them together was very exciting for him. Now that we have more leisurely baths the babies, especially Cohen love to splash and play with the toys. As you can see in the photos below they all like to kick back and relax, especially Cecilia. Wild, free and hungry.

Yep...they are all crawling!! Cecilia is the most proficient since she has been at it the longest. Christian picked it up pretty quickly over the last few days and does remarkably well on the hardwood floors. Cohen is improving by the minute but all of his arms and legs are moving at the same time along with diving gets him to where he needs to go and pretty quickly I might add. It looks awkward but I think he just needs to get his rhythm down. They are all eating well, but getting a little picky. They like most kids are realizing that the fruits are much tastier than the veggies and meats. I think they would eat their weight in puffs/cheerios every day if I would let them. It is an obvious favorite and they are pretty good at getting them into their mouths.

Caleb was nice enough to share his cough with them so everyone has snotty noses and a cough. Everyone is handling it well though. Booster flu shots tomorrow so I will get to see how much they all weigh again-yeah!!

Funny pics

Lazy weekend mornings.
Someone has to be a pillow now and again...Christian doesn't mind!

The boys are both sleeping and Cecilia is on a mission to get Christian's pacifier. She almost had it before I busted her.

Screaming Eagle

Caleb went to six flags twice this summer with our next door neighbors, once with me, Bill, Jen and Mya and then again a couple of Fridays ago for Mya's birthday with Mark and I. The first time we went he rode his first real roller coaster, the screamin' eagle. It was so rough and LONG and I was so scared that he was going to be traumatized by it for life but he was not. He got off and of course I made a big deal about him going on it, because it was and then he was happy.
During Fright Fest we got there early and had the place to ourselves to we rode the mine train about 6 or 7 times which he loved and I think was much more appropriate for his age. Mark wanted to go on the screaming eagle with him so I said I would go, but I would not sit with him. I think Mark too was scared about half way through, but once again Caleb did fine. He said it made his belly hurt, but he liked it. I was a fun evening and this picture was taken after his second screamin' eagle ride of the season.

I made him take this picture by the sign :)

Band-Aids

As many of us already know Caleb is the king of band-aids. He loves then and magically they fix EVERYTHING. He is somewhat strange in that he prefers the plain ones opposed to the character ones. He will wear a band-aid until it falls off or we make him take it off. My new rule is that he has to get a new band-aid after bath time which is usually a huge fight and then once the band-aid is off he realizes that there is nothing there anyway and it is no longer necessary. Today his lip got hurt this morning so he wore a band-aid on his face all day. When Mark sees him doing this he gets really mad so I decided to make light of the situation. He of course would not take it off at bedtime so I could not resist taking these photos of him fast asleep. He loved the mustache!! I think it will magically disappear by morning though :)
